Azerbaijani do some research before you claim this as your music. Fact check: This is simply a case of disinformation which was born in the internet and was made to go viral by internet as well. As far as I remember, originally, a video appeared on KZbin presenting this composition as Fikrat Amirov’s “Karabakh is the Pearl of Azerbaijan”. Since the Armenian (Especially Eastern Armenian/Hayastantsi) music and the Azerbaijani music resemble each other a lot, many in Azerbaijan quickly bought this disinformation, and it went viral with even several Azerbaijani TV channels playing this composition. Fikrat Amirov’s son, Jamil Amirov renounced this, saying that his father had not composed this piece, and he actually had no composition named “Karabakh is the Pearl of Azerbaijan”. Indeed, the name of this composition is “Artsakh”, and its author is Ara Gevorkyan. Even an Azerbaijani KZbin Channel specialising in tracking cases of plagiarizing of Azerbaijani songs by Armenian singers made a video dedicated to this case stating that this composition is not Fikrat Amirov’s “Karabakh is the Pearl of Azerbaijan“ but actually Ara Gevorkyan’s “Artsakh”. The videos of that channel have been moved to another channel named “Armenian Plagiarism” Armenians enjoy your awesome weddings.

As of Tuesday 23 February 2021, ️the original composer of this song Ara Gevorgyan (who is Armenian) won the lawsuit․ Azerbaijan was forced to admit that the real author of "Artsakh" was the Armenian composer and not the Azerbaijani Fikret Amirov.
