Beautiful! But your camera angle makes it hard to see exactly what your doing. Sometimes when your stitching it goes off the top of the screen. It makes it hard to follow as I'm trying to learn from you! ❤❤ I love what your doing!

Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback Kathy. I will DEFINITELY try harder to keep my hands in the frame. I get carried away sometimes, but I'm going to try harder next time. I will be happy to make more videos since you love them so much! Stay tuned :)

Hi Ashley just found your channel and attempting to learn armenian needle lace. Thank you for making these videos. They are so very helpful. I do have a question. Probably an odd question. I have trouble getting the picots/petals even. In tatting you can use a picot gauge. Is it possible to use that here to help getting the petals even. Getting things even seems to be my biggest challenge. Open for any suggestions. Thank you❤
@BecomeInspired Жыл бұрын
You are so welcome! You know, I've never tried it, but you can give it a shot. Give me a few days to try to use one of these gauges and I'll let you know if it works as a guide for me. I think I have some laying around somewhere. What I can say for sure is that as you practice this art, you'll become an expert. It requires practice and a newcomer may not be able to make anything perfectly for some time at least. With that said, please please please don't be discouraged. Know that you'll notice yourself improving immensely with time.

This is Turkish lace..
@BecomeInspired3 жыл бұрын
Hi there Elif, thanks for watching! 😍 You're mistaken about this video; this type of lace is not the Turkish type. The type I'm showing here is the Christian variety called "Nazareth lace". Nazareth is mentioned in the Bible many times, of course, as Mary's home village. You can educate yourself here about Armenian needle lace: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armenian_needlelace
