I m not the professional, however, I have seen in Weymouth (UK) its thriving so beautifully in the mountains and desert landscape near seaside. I don’t believe anyone would be watering them on those mountains. So should be fine as long it has well drained soil. And it’s perennial (as u can imagine the cold temperatures of UK) and every year it comeback to cover those mountains and salty sandy landscapes with beautiful pompom pink flower. And a little secret between you and me… I did pinched some bagful and planted at home on my normal soil too. Hope it helped. 🌼🍀
