I've tried the Paragon spider trick but it doesn't work for me for some reason :( I must be doing something wrong? He's only level 30 and the spiders do attack him a few times but then they switch to my Coldheart and kill her.

Holy shit, I'm so happy I rediscovered this video after scouring spider run vids. Just pulled a Paragon from the void shard event this weekend and he was a life changer. I was stuck on spider's 19, since my important champs were getting annihilated by the spiderlings. But with paragon at level 30, he focused all the damage, enabling me to decrease the spider's turn meter with lyssandra and razhin while a level 50, no masteries, no books stag knight kept the speed down. Spider only had one turn (1 exhaustion got resisted). Now, I'm easily farming Spider's 20. This was so clutch. Now I need to find a way to beat fire knight.

Armiger's ai is great, will always use his skill 1 if boss' turnmeter is high. If only Paragon will always refresh unkillable into himself, this can work on auto.

Wow, that's awesome! Armiger really is an awesome character for just being an Uncommon. I have 1 that's fully ranked (I kept feeding extra copies of Armiger into him instead of books) but maybe now I should just try and also get a group of 4 just for this attempt. Luckily the market sells Armiger quite often for some silver coins. I think he was like 44000 or 49000 or so. 😃

Super interesting comp. Templar counters whenever a debuff is placed on him. Could he ever be strong enough to handle all the poisons and get enough life back with lifesteal? His A2 also places a 1 turn block damage with a 3 turn cooldown which might help. The tricky bit is always that he has to be "weak" enough to draw the ire of the spiders, but they consider HP not defense, right?

Templar is a great choice but him being spirit makes it harder for an auto setup with Armigers. I might try him out anyway though with very low resistance

Both my paragon and lead armiger is at 151 speed. The unkillable expires before paragon can apply the 2nd unkillabe. My paragon is fully booked as well... what am I doing wrong?

just swap 1 Armiger for High Khatun (also free to play) and give her enough accuracy. She places decrease speed, which helps that you have to do less Turn meter reduction. (also speed buff for your team.). She and 2x armiger are enough to keep Turn meter down. Now you have 1 slot free for dmg to do it faster. (any HP burn (Ugalek is/was f2p for a lot of guys ), Coldheart, Royalguard, or a 3rd armiger with dmg build only for his A2 etc.). I farm stage 20 in about 2 min with that strategy

Just "possible" to farm on manuell for guys who cant do it on auto like me. " 2 min is still annyoing to farm, but the best i can get

Few questions: 1) does this team work with non-spirit affinity spider and / or earlier levels 2) if affinity still matters, how does one solve void spiders :) I keep being stuck at lvl 8 even with unkillable Paragon, as mini-spiders keep switching targets really fast.... Now I am really curious if the auto attack behavior works nicely on the armigers. But I don't think it will work with Zephyr Sniper well.... it is an RNG method since you only got a couple chances every time to trigger the counter attack with her. So the longer it goes on, the more likely you are to get her killed instead.

How are you able to maintain this? I ask because when ever I tried this with Spiders I would drop its turn meter from 100% down to zero and then the Spider's turn meter would pop right back to 90% allowing the Spider to instantly take a turn. Do tell... Cheers...

When you do it, the turn meter stays down and builds slowly hence my confusion. I don't get the opportunity to drop it and keep it down because as soon as I do the Spider just magically fills back up and forces a turn before my next Champ can take a turn.

Also I'm not talking Spider 20, I still struggle with Spider 6 or 7 as I can not get any further due to my luck with Champions or lack thereof; take your pick. My 50 Ancient Pulls, during this 2X event, granted 48 Blue and 2 Pink, ALL REPEATS and some Repeat Blue I pulled upwards of 6 times, so my account is cursed and I am almost done wasting my time on this game. I am already done wasting my money as Plarium cured me quick by crashing my accounts with multiple requests generated from a few purchases. Despite my effort to dispute the money's gone and Plarium will not ever get a dime from me again. 3 days after I removed my CC info Plarium was still able to force a few charges, I am in process of disputing them but don't think anything will return in my favor. I've only been playing about 3 weeks and only have 3 Legends out of over 20 Sacred Shards, close to over 200 Ancient Shards, when I was spending money and before I knew about 2X day, and none worth mentioning. I had 1 Sacred Shard from completing Campaign on Hard which did yield a Legend, but more of a Joke than anything. Baron, Maulie Tankard, and a Boy Named Sue or Suzerain Katonn are my 3 legends and Maulie is the best of them as far as ratings go. I still have yet to draw anything useful like A Kael, Apothecary or any Epic worth their salt. Ehlain is what I chose at the beginning and she, a Blue, is my strongest Champion. So to say I am very early and extremely LATE to this game is a mild understatement but needless to say it is what it is. As far as Epics go, I might have less than 20, more like 15 or even less. As for Common and Uncommon I believe I have just about EVERY ONE short of 2 maybe. Again my strongest Champion is Ehlian so that should give you a bit about what I am working with. Leveling up is proving a far more daunting task when you don't spend any money then is worth for such poor results. As soon as I get anything rolling I am stalled. I don't know what it costs you to level up your gear but so far I am averaging 1.2 Million in coin just to get to lv 14, on average so most of my gear hovers around lv 8ish. I did not learn of Masteries until a week or so ago so obviously NONE are further then 1 or 3; meaning the 1st and 2nd rows no more. My Great Hall needs to be renamed to Hardly Adequate at best because there is NOTHING Great about it. I recently took first place and received Seeker as my reward and am currently getting him to lv 50, currently at lv 40 on his way to lv 50. The few Epics I have are stuck at lv 40 because I lack the resources to Feed them. Sure out of some 2,000 or so Mystery Shards you'd think I'd have plenty of food and I do, it's just lv 1 Common and Uncommon don't yield much exp boost when 40 Million is needed to lv up or whatever the number are. This game is hardly Play for Free. Now you know all about me how about you take the worst of worse Champions and show me how to complete Spiders 8 with No Masteries, Gear or Accessories such as Rings or Great Hall or any of that; just basic Champs with 3* Gear... Cheers...

Not work for me. My paragon have lvl 30 (3 stars) and 7000 HP but after atack him spiders atack another champion (Stag Knight lvl 50, 28 000 HP)

I can't seem to get the spider to focus on Paragon. I have him at 3* level 30, so I've made sure he stays low, but the spiders only hit him a couple of times and then go elsewhere. Super weird AI.

Everyone else on the team has to have about 3x the hp as paragon. Then focus will stay on paragon, unless you have a weak affinity

Why not use an Armiger with low HP in the lead and have paragon buff Armiger. Wouldn't that work on auto if lead had speed 151 and paragon had speed 150.52.
