@@X1k1nh0_Music ​ I'm not disapopinted. Although there weren't those classic trance in this set, I heard a lot of tracks that fit this setting... I think this is the newer Trance sound nowadays... with techno baseline. Plus this is nothing like the 2014 big room days that many people hated. Hence, I enjoyed it!

@@dsp2go its better than nothing i admit, although i prefer the vibe of the classic set´s you can hear for example in Luminosity beach festival or what Armin puts on Untold. For me the music that it used to be so unique,creative and emotive before edm took the world will barely makes any spotlight above the commercial stuff and the trends (techno) and derivatives we got nowaydays unfortunately, although from time to time Armin or other more forgotten trance legends remembers to deliver a gem among a shitshow of $$$ cattering music, but hey, who i am to judge mate.

​@@X1k1nh0_Music I can see your points, and as a die hard trance fan myself, who doesn't like the old 1990s and 2000s era of trance? But I think times are changing so I'm just accepting the newer Armin sounds as well. His quote is "don't be a prisoner of your own style" or something, so I'm glad he still does classic trance sets from time to time (e.g. Untold, like you said), but I'm also excited to see what twists he has done compared to the modern sounds. For example, I think his collab with Artbat was amazing! A very nice twist of techno! It's okay. If I want to listen to old classic trance stuff, I'll just re-listen to his ASOT 2004 CD 1/CD2 set haha!

Music changes, and it's always the losers that don't go to the shows, don't buy the merch, don't buy the albums, and don't support the artist that wanna run their mouths. I was there last month personally for Seismic, "0 Trance in the set." or not, there wasn't single dissatisfied face when the place let out for Armin's set.
