Whoever approved the use of a real fire arm for the sake of the film, the people responsible for firearms and ammunition, whoever did not reinforce firearm safety precautions after an incident in weeks before the shooting involving weapons, and yes Baldwin and the director herself for not checking it a million times before firing it for a practice no less should be held responsible. And big facts, they are. The chick will likely have difficulty working in that lane again. Baldwin will have that on his name, heart and memory FOREVER and the director lost her life. It’s terrible because it doesn’t ensure a precedent that could influence the behaviors surrounding this issue on set. It will happen again. So freaking sad. It still doesn’t make sense of the ammunition part to me unless I’m missing a detail of the chick’s case. Baldwin’s responsibility comes in being the producer- person responsible for hiring the folks on set. The chick apparently had issues with her limited experience in the field already. The choice to use a real gun- not industry standard- is largely up to him. Baldwin saying he didn’t pull the trigger sounds crazy.
