COME BACK ARMOR FOR SLEEP. They were so underrated, and it sucks. Their lyrics are so powerful and their music was amazing...so much better than overrated, shitty bands today. One of my favourite songs, and bands. I'm just super pissed that I never got to see them live... RIP AFS.

You can put things inside the bass drum to modify the sound. Oftentimes a blanket is placed inside to give it a more muted, softer tone, without such an "echo" effect after the kick. Or they modify the sound in post-production, adding some sort of filter or envelope to the track.
