Yes. Clearing missions is one thing. But to fine tune your mechs for the next mission is hard though. I had to use gameshark at that time just to have fun with the game. lol.

Gotta love how they've shown how much the base was panicking that they leveled it themselves to flush him out. That part he's using is pretty OP, even when nerfed, especially in the right hands.

Idk which part you're referring to, but I sure hope it isn't the CROW, because holy shit that thing is useless in SL lmao. Absolutely game breaking in 3, and absolutely useless after its duration was nerfed to about the length of a yawn.

What I like about the cinematic intros of the other Armored Core series is that you can try to keep up with what is going on especially if it has specific ACs to keep a focus on, especially in AC3's intro (the one before this game) there were 4 acs and you could tell which ones were going against each other. However in this intro, it is VERY confusing, there is no specific AC focus and that does not count the poster boy AC with the KARASAWA rifle. You can BARELY tell how many ACs in total are in this intro. You can barely tell what they are shooting at, and as far as I know one of the minor ACs in the intro are only shown once, the one with the small grenade cannons. No offense at all, I'm a BIG AC fan and I thought this intro was cool when I first saw it, but just trying to understand it is what I'm getting at from it right now.

Yeah it wasn't super clear. But notice how none of the blue eyed ACs shot at each other. Only at the red eyed one and the base itself. While the Red eyed one was attacking all the planes and blue eyed ACs. :O And then it finally makes sense: The red eye AC is defending the base.

You'd have to have a really good eye to notice specific and know exactly what's going an as the easiest thing a person could tell that the Red Eye AC was the target of the other two ACs.

Trust me I thought it was a battle royale for like 8 years. Then I started to really wonder why even then it was hard to follow. While I was watching all of the intros again, I thought of back to AC3's intros. Red vs grey, but later I find out it turns out medium weight one is actually blue even though due to poor coloration it looked like a dark grey. "Blue?" I thought. Red and Blue! Then I looked back and I was like OMG it's red vs blue! xD

...lmao what How was this hard to follow? The Sawa AC is up against everyone else. It's implied that it's an AI AC defending the Silent Line, and every other AC is trying to invade it, or scout it. The whole fight begins when the carrier passing through the area is shot by the satellite cannon. That's when the Sawa AC gets in on it. You'll also notice how it's the only one of the four that seems grossly unnatural: All the other ACs seem fairly "normal", and then this one is obviously way over the weight limit, which is emphasized by the fact that it's a very light frame lugging around a ridiculously heavy gun. All of this is supported in the quick blurb about the game's plot synopsis. Also, the fight from AC3's intro is between two ACs owned by Crest, and two owned by Mirage. That's made pretty obvious by the matching color schemes, and the fact that each one only uses parts from their respective companies. Why none of that was featured in-game is beyond me, but I have to assume it was stuff that just got cut due to budget/time constraints.

@@NoOne-us9xv I never thought the SAWA AC in this Intro was A.I. , as the Controller's Agents used the MHD-MM/003 heads and other Controller models were completely unique (Big Whites, IBIS) I've seen official artworkl, of the SAWA AC and its Pilot standing beside it on the ground. At least, I interpret that person as the AC's Pilot. But the game's theme is A.I. , it's in game in the campaign, A.I. are in previous games, and the A.I. Arena, so maybe that guy is the Pilot, but perhaps he's able to operate or program his AC for remote deployment? I dunno. Guess it's another way to consider it. We've also long since had Ravens with Human PLUS or OP Intensify augmentations able to fire shoulder canons while moving or in flight, reduced energy, missle display, laser blade waves, ect. ect. , so I wouldn't just assume any pilot exhibiting these traits to be an A.I., even though too has been the case it shouldn't be the de facto assumption. IMO Genobee was an A.I. but there's just as much evidence to suggest the pilot was indeed human.

There are 3 AC's in the intro, I think those 2 are mirage because they have blue eyes, and the AC with a karasawa is crest, mostly the battle is just again Mirage AC's vs Crest's, but somehow we can see there are jets and uh MT units that are flying and that orbital satelite that is pretty much op

I think the For Answer one was really well directed, if not stupid (A giant walking fortress is about to shoot its biggest guns at White Glint, who instead of running out of the targeting line, stands still and PURGES HIS ENERGY SHIELD for an Assault Armor attack that won't even hit because he's too far away)

This intro's direction is fine. The action jumps around a lot partly because it's trying to capture a frantic mood, and it's really not hard to pick up on the cues here. Every AC has the same shade of blue eyes, except for one. That one outlier's eye color just happens to be the same pinkish-red hue that you see on the satelite cannon. The intro stops for awhile just to fixate on that thing, btw, which is the longest it stops on anything in the entire sequence. You can probably infer that they do that for a reason. All the blue-eyed ACs are trying to invade the silent line. The red-eyed AC is trying to stop them. Idk man, you can rag on a lot of what Fromsoft does for being overly ambiguous/unintuitive, but this really isn't one of them. I can understand not being able to figure out what's happening here the first time you watch it; if you still think it's just badly directed the second or third time around, that isn't a limitation of the scene, but the viewer.

What do you mean they ruined the series? Armored Core from 4 to 6 are the reason why this series got more popular and still exist and the reason that got me into the series and made me a fan of it. Just because you don't like the new installments and improvements of the series doesn't make them bad. Armored Core is literally a series about mech on mech action with diverse customization and it stays true to what it is. Regardless of what each installment's approach is, they will still be the same mech on mech action.
