“It’ll be just like when we climbed the wall.” What makes it so good is that rusty knows he’s not muzzled by Arqebus anymore and can fight the whole battle by your side. It’s like he’s making up for not being able stand by you that time.

When rusty shows up on the second to last mission is possibly the best moment in the whole game, so epic.

I agree, the way it was presented and done probably made it the most epic moment in Armored Core 6.

My favourite detail is the explosions in the ground below, in the background, during his encounter. We all love Rusty, but it's hard not to truly value Rusty without also valuing what he cares about - Rubicon's people. And in the story, they're all rising up, giving the RLF a critical boost to take their planet back. The scale of that is very hard to relate, but we see a glimpse in that one angle. That's all because of you. That's because of Ayre convincing them you're their hero. And that's why Rusty is so proud to stand beside you.

Both versions of this mission are so badass. Fires of Raven variant has you with infinite EN taking down warship after warship and then rusty comes for possibly the best fight in the game and in the Liberator of Rubicon variant its you and rusty teaming up for one last hurrah 2 of the best pilots just decimating the enemy forces.

Its really cool being patched into the fight comms. Deploying that ac is a huge thing for the rubiconians

Although being a good ending that was bittersweet for 621 considering he and Walter had a bond despite being Profesionals in their short conversations. While we already have Ayre since the first Watchpoint assault, walter was with us throughout our jobs. Imagine if 621 had some feelings despite the modifications to make 621 a stone cold pilot than a regular man. Best hints were his worries and Faith in past missions and near deaths like in the Tunnel Sabotage mission. You can tell walter does have feelings under the cold stone HANDLER persona if it weren't for his friend's legacy. I wonder what Walter would have done if he threw out the MERCENARY role like we did on this one.

I think this is supposed to be the goodish ending, but I wish you didn't have to kill Carla and Chatty. I liked them alot.

Rusty didn't die. I refuse to believe. After all, he survived a no holds barred fight with Raven (C4-621) and Walter didn't, proof that they are on different levels. If someone "dies" off screen always give credence to the possibility of their survival.
