I'm rather certain this boss and a few others have input reading. The way she perfectly dodges some attacks often during the slight fire delay. Try fighting her where you simply don't attack and she will noticeably move around differently and a lot less. Once you understand that you can't just fire on her at any time but have to wait for an attack or right after she dodges another she is a lot easier to beat.

Lol please. There are regular enemies that read inputs. This game is rife with input reads just like Elden Ring. But we can boost catch them in a similar way that people roll catch in Elden Ring pvp so it kinda balances itself out.

It's more likely that instead of input reading, it's more about reflexes The bosses, even bad ones, in ER don't actually have input reading They just respond to your actions faster than any hueyman could which is what makes it seem as if there's input reading, not that it makes it any better

Out of all the videos I've searched for Ayre, this is the BEST, by far. Because you don't use the Needle Stuns on your back (which almost cheese the fight - I have also used them with success). You have taken the time to analyze her attacks, and you actually KNOW what you are doing - if that makes sense. Also you have an empty weapon slot which you don't bother to use, which is insane tbh. I am going to beat her without the needle stuns- your video is great help. Well done!

Strange as it sounds, I won by treating her like pixy and missle jousted her and it's surprisingly effective. She only strikes once if you dodge into her sword rather than away. If her arm is out you qb once. If her arm is across her chest qb twice under her arm instead.

I used this strat with the sticking to the edge of the map strat and dual zimms and I beat her in 2 minutes got S rank on my replay with the same strat aswell lol

one thing I'd add, fighting her right at the ends of the map limits her mobility and makes it much easier to land shots. otherwise, great guides. thanks for making these

So in my play: 1) she every 5sec do a 720 degree spin around the arena and firing from every buthole she has (like 320 of them) 2) does 2 to 6 melee attacks per second after whatever.... 3) if I dodge her im aproximately 3km to far to do an DMG with my shotguns 4) if I stun her she is knocked 10km away and I cant close the distance in time and if I do she recover in 0,0003sec after stunned and procede to 1) 5) dodge all attacks but only if im firing.....even if shes stunned and Im backstabing her -.-""" 6) has some stupid 90% resistance to grenade cannon -.-""" 7) is always behind a "buildng" whenever Im firing 8) tracks her MEGA attacks even if Im in the different universe and hits me... but after 8h I just fire some STUN NEEDLES to her face!!!! and I can finaly go to sleep..... my main issue is that i never use hard lock so i always lose track of her when she starts teleporting around the map. ive had bad experience with hard lock constantly losing lock or switching targets, probably because im constantly moving my mouse cuz im always using soft lock, idk

I can confirm, if you're hard locked and move the camera the hard lock breaks

Hard lock and Stop touching the right stick.. seen this in another video the cam will keep up with her to the best of its ability, some cases its not meant for you to keep your eyes on them so I don't think it's possible to track them perfectly.. wish the Assault Boost was another button moving has a random chance of turning into a boost guaranteeing the @uckining.

I used a very similar build but I switched to a shield because I didn’t feel like learning her sporadic sword timing and it saved me a lot of lost AP. I was able to beat her with just a few hundred AP left.

You can also dodge under the blade attack if you dash toward her on the side she’s swiping from. That leaves you right next to her for shotgun blasts or melee. I also ended up going with the Nach legs for the extra jump distance.

Thank you for the "Boss Moves Breakdown" section. Knowing to fly over some of the attacks is what I needed. I used hands: double kinetic shotguns, and shoulders: double giant laser shotguns

2 hrs beating her. I did both drones release which you get 3 on 1 so total of six. I used the new armor before this mission. Super fast. My arms was dagger and hand gun. But it’s the dagger that does soo much damage. My drones stagger her. The gun is a distraction.

I finally did it using this build. I used the same weapons but had a needle gun on me. I got lucky in the 2nd wave and stunned her and was able to hit with the pile bunker. Took me a while though lol.

I also used 2 Zimmerman but songbird stun needle and reverse joints. For her first phase swords i actually dodge forward diagonal and we pass by each other instead.

Boost is key. If it is high you could easily dodge those sword attacks. Also the vertical missile launcher does come in handy as does moderate damage and help you track Ayre

It's auto-lock and it is absolutely possible in-game. If you're playing on Xbox then just click down on the aiming stick to engage auto-lock. It lives up to it's name, but sacrifices some accuracy with your weaponry so if you're good at tracking targets then there's no need for it.

This advice is bullshit because when I dodge back from her melee attacks she still reaches me.I have the boosters with the highest QB thrust rating. When she wants to hit you she will and when you attack she moves away at light speed. It’s an utterly unfair battle.

Final boss of the Fires of Raven route. If you wanna go that route then when presented with the choice to "Kill Carla" or "Fight V.I Freud" fight Freud. Do *not* Kill Carla as that leads to the LoR route instead.
