Not sure if you know (it took me a bit to figure out), but you can keep replaying old missions to farm money to buy all the parts in the shop so you have access to everything. Also, do the training missions because you unlock new gear when you do.

Strider is the best money farm in the game you'll get 200,000+ per and once you're used to it it takes 3 ish minutes

@@zeehero7280 I was finally finding the time to make it through chapter 2, and holy fuck does it indeed get way worse. Definitely need particular builds for later bosses, or some God level ability with the game, and a whole lot of luck.

See, this just confuses me. A lot of people say the game is too easy and others too hard. Probably depending on how stubborn one is with builds. I myself have never even played a Fromsoft game before. But the only boss I had a real struggle with was the chapter 4 boss. And even then, it wasn't too terrible. I assume a lot of dark souls players just struggled to adapt to a different play style? I really don't know why so many struggled so hard, especially with the tutorial boss. Its just odd is all.

@@sawdust8691 I use the builds that feel good for me, and it becomes trial and error, and a decent amount of luck, that still takes me time to beat them. The last thing I just completed was the Chapter 4 mission with the multi-wave fight in the underground area where you finish off the boss of the one group. It was complete ass with my shotgun build, even though it got me through the area and the previous couple levels without much issue. So I have zero clue what would've been a better build without looking it up myself, or spending even longer trying to figure it out deeper. I personally don't understand how everyone is having such an "eAsY" time, and beating this insane game in a day or 2. 40+ hours in, and I still need to beat the campaign, lol... I ain't even bad at games, since I sure waste enough of my life on them 🤦🏻

​​@@ryuman757 Ya, that's what's weird. It only took me around... 17 hours to beat my first playthrough. Maybe it really just depends on what builds people settle into. I mostly stuck with my one build as well, but it was on the heavy side of medium weight and was able to carry a couple of heavy hitting guns. But I was willing to switch up my AC when I came across a challenge not suited for my AC. That really must be the key, trying different builds and not settling fully into one. The game was still never easy. But I never got stuck for more that a couple attempts, other than chapter 4 boss😂. That one took nearly 2 hours until I learned it's moves. I know the mission you mention. Taking out a ton of enemies in that one room to drive off that group for good? I died a couple times there. Then switched to duel weilding Gatlin guns and rocket launchers that quickly shredded through the mass of enemies. Downside to it is I ran out of ammo at the end and needed to finish it using my fists and one remaining rocket launcher😂. Almost didn't make it. Anyway, good luck. I'm on new game + now and I'm pleasantly surprised with all the interesting changes in many missions so far.

Armored core's difficulty is kinda weird. The normal enemies are much easier than dark souls. But the main bosses I think are much harder

Nah its kinda similar imo. Basic generic enemies die in like 2 to 3 hits, heavy enemies take some work, and elite enemies actually need you to focus on them in order to finish them without you getting hurt too much

Maybe ER felt easier due to numerous ways to brute force cheese the game. Speaking with experience of 20 cosplays with many different gimmicks (often Indie games), ER can vary between being relentless and brutal, all the way to piss easy cheesed (which unfortunately bleeds into PvP in a negative domino-effect way). AC6 doesn't seem to be as varied in difficulty.

It feels like it, but as a veteran of the franchise, once you revisit bosses after beating them for the first time they start to feel trivial. It is an improvement over the difficulty scale of previous armored core "boss fight events" (those don't really exist in the same way in the older titles). They will be challenging the first time you encounter them. But as there are no mechanics, all AC6 boss attacks are inherently avoidable. And if they somehow aren't (I haven't found any yet), such attacks are spaced out enough that you have time to stagger them before they get it off.

@@silbury2325 well i played ac6 first time today I killed that tutorial helicopter boss in my 2nd try Combat is good fast responsive And most importantly it has checkpoint which dark souls don't have which is why I don't play them as they force player to run all the way up to boss

I feel like I might have an answer for this oddly complicated question. For a DS veteran… someone who can utilize I-frames perfectly and do bosses without getting hit… this will likely be much more difficult than anticipated because there is no “just don’t get”… For people who never could quite rise to the DS games… will find this much easier to grasp because it’s more about build and strategy instead of reflexes and memory.

In the missions there are optional opponents in the maps. Kinda like that tetrapod the handler tells you to avoid. They tend to be pretty interesting fights since they usually to have weapons you get later.@@MustyMacaroni

Nah I find elden Ring to be a lot harder than this game but im progressing through this game a lot faster than my friends are (Looking at their playtime and achievements unlocked) so ig these type of robot games are my thing...
