thanks a lot for this one. was struggling a little and wasnt sure if the log enemy was required here. but just killing every small enemy faster and using big stagger shoulder weapons for the AC did the trick :3

Remaining helicopter health seems to matter on this one. A heli at half HP with less ammo/repair costs than are shown here only earns an A rank. Really wish S rank conditions were a bit more transparent.

Yea, heli health definitely matter. One time I did a similar route but lost something like 25% of the health to someone I missed. Didn't S rank. Any time there's a scaling objective, the higher the health the better.

I can't even complete the mission. So many enemies to kill yet the helicopter dies too fast. My shots just keep ricocheting in this mission.

Ricochet is dependent on the gun used. If you’re too far away from the enemy you’ll ricochet.

Dude this mission is literally the most difficult one to do if you want to complete it AND get the combat log

If you follow this route you have a lot of time to get it after clearing out the second landing pad. With a decent AB booster you can go get the log, then return back to go clear out the third pad. It's still not a big deal to run the mission twice to complete either.

There are a few missions in this game which are shit sandwiches, this is one of them. Especially if you are trying to S Rank or Loghunt.

I don't get that much bonus pay when doing my runs, maybe I forget if the helicopter HP gets too low and that's an issue. I'm using as little ammunition as possible and completing runs without using repair kits, trying to kill every enemy including the one heavy one with the combat log but only once got $400k.

Hard to say. I haven't played the game since I got the platinum trophy and apparently there's been a lot of balancing changes. Do note that heli HP is a huge determining factor for the S rank in this mission. I can't remember the thresholds (and it could have changed) but it was something like 65% or less and you will fail the S rank guaranteed.

If you're still not S ranking it means you're losing too much HP on the helo. If you're not getting to the end with 95%+ HP you're doing something wrong. If you are getting to the end then it's a question of killing the minions. Usually the boss will target you, especially if you damage him. While the MTs focus the helo. Ensure that you destroy the MTs. Something like assault armor works really well for destroying the group of MTs as they're delivered. Be on the lookout for an enemy helicopter delivering more MTs during the fight.

It's left off where you start the mission. Opposite the first place the transport ship stops to pick someone up.
