Meant to say the energy gauge decreases faster when hovering since the patch.

Dunno if you knew Moose, but using the HMMR's charging animation deflects most smaller projections and missiles, think of it like the Splitleaf's weapon art back in DS3. You still take chip damage and a bit of stagger, but it can be pretty useful as a pseudo shield against some opponents.

@@jacobanderson8219 yeah I just never use it cause I like the regular attack. Similar to the chainsaw like that tho.

If I could like twice, i would. I love quad builds and you are rocking this one.

I don't know how to word it any other way, but this build felt so anime, or in this case, mecha anime. I haven't played AC before, but you made such a splash compared to what expectations I have for quads. You had 4 weapon loadout that is pretty spread out as opposed to most others and even many of your previous builds with paired weapons and focused playstyles, yet you were zipping around fairly speedily for a quad, and did surprisingly well with a mostly melee build and playstyle, which doesn't strike me as intuitive for a quad, apart from the kicking. And because of that, there were you had lots of clean and exciting moment-to-moment gameplay even when you lost, as opposed to other times where you just strafe and shoot, or punish someone on the stagger with the chainsaw/moonlight. IDK but it feels like you found a build that was supposed to be a starter class/loadout but is actual too OP for the beginning. Sorta how they hooked people in with the Bloody Wolf or the Bloodhound Fang on the Warriors in the Elden Ring demo, then switched them out on release. Or since this loadout pays homage to the Nightrider, felt like you started a game with that build. Anywho, GG again, Moose!

It seems weird but since quads don't get locked in place to use the plasma thrower it's great for close range. The assault boost booster is good for moving heavy mech around too!
