I think what we have here is the result of this new resource being abused by corporations and in the end very much like Kojima particles in AC4 and f4 it caused major damage to a planet resulting these storm and fires of perhaps war. But I'm leaning towards this new resource being more nuclear in nature.

It's a nice theory however I'm sure if you read the other comments you will see someone points out that human plus was already being done before PP. Which is true as the AI already let the human plus design get into the hands of murakumo before the raven of ac1 even shows up. That said however i am not here to stomp all over theories and if it makes the game more enjoyable let people have their theories.

I’d say AC Nexus went into better detail of the plot then the actual game did. It went into more detail of what the Wednesday Agencies goals were and why the corporations funded them. According to Nexus, The Wednesday Agency making a new type of weapon (Phantasma) interested the corporations enough for funding and expansion into Amber Crown in exchange for a taste of whatever weapons the Agency made. Once it seemed like their interests didn’t align, the corporations left them at the mercy of the Raven. The Agency (implied by a briefing in Nexus) was trying to build Phantasma and make changes to the status quo, likely to overthrow the corporations and effect the current world order. Of course, using the corporations to fund your cause of destroying them and using a Psychopath like Stinger as one of your members…Yeah it was kinda doomed from the start, I guess they didn’t have a choice though, the people were quite desperate.

Looking back at Phantasma, looks like the AI got hold of the design to make Seraph. Just look at Nineball Seraph when transformed.

Its very possible the Ai had connections everywhere with the nerves system running, it would not surprise me if the ai was watching the whole thing go down and decide that this organisation needs to go. Lucky it seem this matter is already been dealt with in a manner suitable for the future of mankind.

Recently finished this game. You mentioned that the protagonist Raven later goes on to defeat a 9-Ball at the end of the video, but when does that happen?

A good point, the reason i mention this is there is one of many theories that the raven in this game is the raven from ac1 who goes on to defeat nine-ball at the end of the first game since the events of project phantasma happen slam bang in the middle of the timeline of the events going on in ac1. Then again there is always the other ideas that this raven was brand new and was very skilled. Hope that helped.

Ah that footage comes from the bonus disk that came with the armored core nexus ps2 games. Its a disk with some remade levels for the olders games in higher ps2 quality with a lot more lore to them then the older games.

Just finished the 3 AC games on psx. This was the only one I actually disliked. Really didnt like how the missions were structured, and flying enemies were extremely annoying. Final boss was also kind of a mess for me

That's very kind of you to say, however i know there are many older ac channel that have kept the flames of passion going before i showed up so i am grateful to them too. And yes i saw that for me it would be more about the lore as that little scene could show a recovery team or much like ACV where pilot used to try to savage parts from a defeated ac to sell. But don't get me wrong if multiplayer does come back, i will make some time to watch some matches as a show of skill is always a good watch.
