Looks and sounds pretty generic. A lot of the response to this seems to be very skewed or biased. If this didn't have FromSoft attached, people would think this is some Early Access demo by some indie studio.

I started playing my first ever Armored Core game just a week ago (Armored Core for Answer). Man that game is sick. The missions are simple and quite short so far and I have made it past White Glint just last night. Safe to say, this trailer hits different now. I am hyped to see the extent of streamlining they have implemented in this game. I truly want this to be an Armored Core game at heart

One of the best AC games in my opinion, I've played every 1 of them lol. For Answer was amazing. You'd like V or 5 as well, it's more team based except for story, but still just an amazing game and more strategy needed for V as well I think

So, thrusters are tied to your energy meter in AC just for gameplay balance, rather than using a fuel tank. The starter AC in this, the grey standard biped you saw at the start, actually seems to be VERY efficient at flight but weak in most other areas.

Thruster energy consumption and boost power is just a stat on the thrusters part, how much energy you have and how fast you regain it is up to the generator, and how heavy you are combined with how much power you have affects how fast you go.

So seeing Bandai upload an AC video got me hoping for something new, but it's just the same. It's just for demonstration purposes, fromsoftware showed the game in person to a group of content creators. There was a U.I. the left has your energy and stagger meter, the bottom has your hp, the bottom right has the ammo and heat for your 4 weapons, and somewhere around the center of the screen will be a reticle which moves around based on who you are locking on to.
