My pet theory (citation needed) is sticking close to HW zimms benefits me because they don't get AB impact buff, P10 booster is hard to dodge with, and it's harder for em to get breathing room for EN regen on combustion gen. Doesn't work when it's a MW zimmshield tho lol.

MW Zimmshield is on top of the food chain you won't find good answer for it here of all places lmao. Theoretically there's (1) try to chip stagger buildup with harris uncharged shots (2) try to trade hit when it seems like they're gonna fire their left zimm and win stagger race (3) try to hit from odd angles outside 61ps coverage area using hovermode QB but in practice it's a "no plan survives first contact with enemy" kinda deal for me. Some weapons like explosive thrower and javelin alpha are supposedly good against shield so that might help if you run tetrapod legs.

Tetras are extremely energy hungry. The kick is very good, making it tempting to utilize in melee, but it has a longer cooldown animation, leaving you slightly more open than other leg-type kick animations. Tetrapods also lack jump distance and energy efficiency for melee weapons, meaning the absence of power is understood. The Hal, Allmind, VP, and Ortus bipedal legs seem to be the most popular choices for armor/speed ratio melee builds. However, you may find ways to lean on the strengths of the tetrapod, so have fun.
