Armored Trooper Votoms - Chirico & Fyana vs Balarant Fleet (Space Fight)

From the original tv series Chirico and Fyana find themselves stranded on an abandoned battleship heading toward an unknown destination on auto-pilot. Their peaceful moments together are cut short when a Balarant fleet starts to attack their ship, it then devolves into a space battle.

I find it funny that the naming conventions for most of the AT's in Votoms goes like adjective/item/descriptor then an animal name then we just have AT's called Fatty's and Chubby's xD

Im almost here, at episode 30. The Kumnen arc has been great. It was weird watching Apocalypse Now then some Votoms 2 days ago.

Space Combat in votoms looks.. worse in gundam. both in quality of the animation and actually trying to imagine too myself what it seems like it would be too pilot these things in space.. it really does seem that they're just space debris with thrusters strapped on sometimes/

I kinda like it that way, Votoms and other mechs in this universe were never designed for space combat, it leaves space combat dedicated to ship combat which is nice. It adds more layers to how combat plays out and doesn't make it completely mech focused.

I don't know if it's a hot take or not, but I think Fatty has a great design on par with Scopedog.
