We were going there but ran out of daylight . You’ll see why next week! It’s not too far away from the NW either. Best wishes to you and yours as well.

Have you sold ur monkey bike? I used to have 125 or less to commute for 40 yrs but once I hired an x max 250 twist and go I was sold on a few extra ccs. Dont like shape of Vespas due to having a ride On an early 2 stroke hand twist gear change in the 70s. Horrible handling. But yours looks nice. Fascinating info. Those Irish road racers have balls of steel. So many brothers and sons died there from the troubles and the bike races. Really interesting thanks. £1.31 for fuel wow. Those roads, the surface state, sharpness of bends and undulations my god

Yeah swapped out for the Vespa purely because of my back problems. I couldn’t even get off it after a while hence the step through. The GTS really shouldn’t be as good as it is. The Monkey was ace in tarmac. This just lacks a little plushness at the start of the bump but otherwise it’s great. The power really makes a nice difference 😉 The circuit was quite the eye opener bumpy, undulating and with such tight curves. Makes the TT course seem wide open!! Some more on racing there next Sunday 😉😉
