Disagree. This game had everything going for it and it still fell off. Being an early title in a console's life will inevitably lead to sales because what else is there to buy. The problem is that this game, despite its unique concept and amazing presentation, the game was unfortunately just not that fun for the majority of people.

This game is so underappreciated, people say it's bad and honestly it's only flaws imo are the lack of new content which you can't blame a fighting game for all that much, and the thumbs-up grip being kinda bad, other than that it's fun to play with friends and even burn some time solo, it ain't the best game out there, but it gets shit on more than it should

I blame games like Splatoon 2 for killing the hype tbh. Splatoon is my favourite gaming franchise from recent years but Arms had so much potential, but sadly Splatoon 2 got so much more original content and it released only a month after Arms. Splatoon 2 also sold better than Arms because it was already part of an established franchise so people who played the first game (myself included) already knew that they would enjoy it.

Wow, I found this game really fun it has all the great things you love about fighting games. The only thing with this game is that it takes a while to get used to the controls which I have no problem with and the characters are pretty sweet, I hope Nintendo does a second game The cool thing is that you get to switch your hands from boxing gloves to rocket launchers to dragons and etc. The story, gameplay, and characters are great in this game. If you have not played this game then I recommend you do. This game is Gametastic rating 5/5

I think this looks cool lol. I'm always willing to give creativity the benefit of the doubt. With the massive influx of FPS, I've been losing interest in gaming. There hasn't been enough variety in what's been coming out. So when I see something different, I'm automatically intrigued. And I'm not saying FPS aren't creative. Overwatch is probably my favorite game right now. I just wish we saw more adventure/fantasy games. Like Ratchet & Clank, Jak, GOW, etc. That's why the Wii U was such a disappointment. I look forward to Nintendo giving us those fun unique games and we barely got that.

Everyone judged this game too quickly. It is the single most fun fighting game I’ve ever played. Yes, better than any smash bros game. It’s filled with so much life, just read through the different badges. The movement is fluid and precise, and all of the characters (except for ninjara) feel balanced. It’s very well designed. It’s multiplayer is the second most balanced of any game I’ve ever played, but first is actually F-zero 99, which perfected it. Seeing as this one came 6 years earlier, it held the first place title for quite a while. Extremely underrated game.

David Janssen Probably. Nintendo has been charging $40 for nearly every new 3ds game and $50 to $60 for nearly all new Wii U games. It's funny too because about half of all of their games can be emulated on PC for free.

I've noticed that the games with overly gimmicky play control are the games I never wanna play. Or the games I hate when I DO try to play them (this goes back to the days of the Wii). Every game that requires the Joy-Cons are games I refuse to play. I don't like the Joy-Cons.

Hello. If you’re still interested in this game. I’ll just let you know that there’s an offline FREE Demo version of the game on the e-Shop. It’s a very limited version, but will give you a feel for the Mechanics and controls. It also supports both Motion Controls and Traditional Controllers too. As for if it’s fun, I personally have over 500+ Hrs into the game. It can be a great 1-4 player Party Game. But it’s also a GREAT 1v1 Competitive Fighter.
