Perhaps last question but I think it's a good one. On phoenix shard when u click qc followed by spell it will go off. Now. Live does not do this. You click qc followed by spell and most of the time you just end up sitting there like a chump clicking it over and over till it finally works. Is there a window on when you take damage to when you try to quick cast? For instance. Try to qc right after you get hit? Which is most likely going to interrupt over and over. Or wait a few seconds then try?

Yes btw people still fall for the numb trick unless they know the animation difference .. I solo on my warrior and have been wanting to make an arms for many yrs now ... so here we go 😏

Honestly some explanation, or a link to a written one, on how the combat stats in general work. WS, AF, Resists, etc. It's always sort of confused me. Even what I think I have a grasp on always turns out to have other oddities attached to the mechanic that I didn't know about.

I'll do my best. I honestly don't know the formulas behind AF/ABS, but I do know the basics. I can definitely go into how first tier/second tier resists work and how other mitigation tools (like baod or mauler rr5) play into it.

Garrett Lee I actually read a bit about it on the Wiki which helped. I actually didn't realize how much was tiered, etc in regards to the combat code.

I went to a reddit link about quick cast and still they never talked about the how sometimes you cant use it. Really love to hear what you got to say about it

I'm not sure what you mean about not being able to use quickcast

@@Obelisk918 you click qc and then the ability you want. he (your class) starts to cast the spell and stops as if you been interrupt. After 2 or 3 trys he will finally qc. This is never happened to you? For me it's a bane.

@@billybob7392 hmm, not sure that's happened to me. After I start casting my quickcasted spell, the only thing that can disrupt it is a stun, mezz, zephyr, silence, or amnesia from my knowledge

Ok so I'm playing an armsman, level 30 I don't have any of those magic abilities. How do I unlock Athletics and Battlemaster?

Battle master is a master level line that requires you to be level 40+ to achieve. The easiest way to get them is to buy a ml1-10 token from someone. If you're playing the phoenix server, master levels are not available. There are also other armsman only abilities that unlock as you level, but also are not available on the phoenix server
