@@billybob7392 nature druids can put out decent dps with dots. However, that's not a popular group spec. Wardens can put out more consistent melee DPS. I'm sure I'll play the new server a bit when it comes out :)

Saracen would be okay if you choose to go thrust. I prefer highlander for more strength and constitution. Strength will help you with both slash, crush, and thrust

I am playing on live server. Is this all still fairly accurate or is it completely different?

There are a lot of differences on Live. One of the biggest is Charge. On live, charge gives you a big speed boost and makes you unCCable. You also have access to Banelords, which are large radius PBAE interrupts (that also have other affects). The combat styles are also very different. Here is an old overview video for Ywain Blademasters ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/bmW4fJ6Co96Xfa8 ). While mercs and BMs are obviously different classes and have different styles, there is a lot of overlap between the two. Maybe it will help

@@Obelisk918 it blow my mind they dont have charge on phoenix. it was given to light tank to allow them to do what they excel. Which is MDPS.. meanwhile they give every other class in the game their gimmick ra. Also archer seem to be incredibly weak in phoenix. the meta on phoenix now just seem to be peelers if youre a melee. So fucking boring. I pass on that.

I think Armsman may be your best bet. Decent damage, tanky, and good peels for your team. Most groups seem to like them too :)
