😅 I totally underestimated the selfie stick, was an absolute nightmare trying to paddle up andthen manage it with the paddle. Made it work I guess haha

Oh mate 100%, that to me is what the stiffer mast will unlock. Plus it means we can start to "surf" those bigger wings rather than just holding on

@@OskarJohansson1 that's for sure. A heavier guy with this mast in small conditions is now able tô use the HA1525 and have a better feeling. I'm 87kg and sometimes using the 1525 feels like slacklining LOL.

Well since I got the 795 that is the only one I have used! As an allroduner for prone and DW I think its great. 85 was a little long for DW, but 72 was too short for proper conditions. But this 795 is a sweet spot

Actually a good question from you for once 🤣. Yeah it is super springy, has this bouncy feel between turns, but then still stiff.... the unicorn!

Great review! Would you go for this 795 for prone foiling or stick with the original 72cm? I find too long a mast is not great for doing tight turns or 180s unto an incoming wave. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Cheers mate!! I am a big fan of long masts. The 795 is the shortest mast I will ride. The faster I am going the longer the mast I want to ride. I agree when I ride shorter masts they turn tighter and roll over quicker, but the longer mast when I am going quick I can put the turn hard because I know the wing won’t breach. The shorter masts I feel I safety surf a little at high speeds just so that I don’t breach which drive me nuts. The 85cm has always been my go to for prone

lovely stuff! What fuse you running , any shims on the stab? whats the vol of that proto board if you can share :)

This is the 60 fuse, with Crisp 333 and a red shim, and the board is 5'11"x19 1/4" and 80L 🤔

If I am in waves, or if it is bumpy, then I ride the 935. But if I could choose just one mast for both then I would use the 795

I havent tried the Cedrus, but from what I have heard they had a lot of drag so my guess is this is much quicker and more efficienct, but I can't comment on stiffness. Compared to GoFoil though it is much stiffer, and also quicker and more efficient. GoFoil were always quite heavy, but I can't compare to their new stuff on weight.

@@OskarJohansson1 but you mention it has some flex too. It’s a bit hard to picture what stiff then means. Is it by any chance as stiff or stiffer than gofoil?
