Parish Church my kids and myself was christened in and the new builds as you call them on the pit I used to look after them when they was in the building process. The industrial estate is a place I use to play when I was a kid and have a motocross. Riding wherever I could round there.

Great idea to cover all the parishes, even if it's a marathon. I know Armthorpe a bit, had a friend from there. Also, I lived in Tickhill briefly and then Balby for a few years. I'm a Londoner, but I have a soft spot for Donnie. Lots of friends from there, various places. Thanks for the tour!

I grew up in Armthorpe from 1981 when i was 5 till I was 12 then moved to the south, then moved back age 17 for a few years, then back to the south and here i still am. I have loads of memories of Armthorpe tho, good n bad . I remember having to get of the bus as the miners were fighting with the riot police …that was pretty crazy. Going down the old pit top on car bonnets , making dens in shaw woods (my school) , dead dog pond ha ha ..., thanks for the upload :)

You can access football ground near shops on Main Road. You also missed off Armthorpe RAF Air Cadets which has been there since 1946.....behind shops next to Morrisons.

Lived here for the majority of my 57 years. Great video, but one question, how the hell did you manage to get all that in with no rain, it's rained here every day since 2017 (or so it seems).
