Yeah kinda...13 kg isn’t that much...maybe his height a leavers were probably more of the advantage...super heavyweights often pull guys much taller and heavier often by 80lbs are more it it seems more often than not the smaller super heavies win.

@@amateresu6708 Hale is a world class puller. Fraude is just on another level, equal weight fraude has better endurance and a little better strength. Hale had his hand as tight to his shoulder as possible without touching. That's as strong as you will get, Fraude was opened up and still held him.

Nicolás Capdet I wish you could see the match between my dad and I! He weighs 230 pounds while I only weigh 140 pounds and he is 46 and I am 15 and he is so big and strong! But I still beat him with strengthening my wrists. Weight plays a role but it’s mainly forearms, wrist and finger strength, triceps and shoulders, and biceps and chest.

If weight doesnt matter there would be no weight class, think logicly , you beat your father cuz you train for arm wrestling and he dont , if he train as much as you you can have all the strenght you want you will lose , just like geoff cant lose in 99% of his matches in his lightweight class , he beat even some ppl from middleweight and that is true power , he know he dont have to much challenge in his class so he co class above to play with big boys and he have my respect for that , he will learn something new plus he will get stronger

You can see that Geoff has a stronger arm. Biomechanically he is able to apply and hold greater force. But giving up 13kgs in weight is a big ask.

I love watching Hale lose too. But Frode is like over 20lbs heavier. Hale is really good and was close on many of those fights. Good match. WAL 2018 better be on TV this year. Turner sports picked up WAL it looks like after ESPN backed out. Scheduling errors on ESPNs part.
