He has it set in his head that Geoff isn't that good because he knows his toproll would dominate if he could reliably set it. But he's underestimating Geoff at the same time and is in denial, I'm sure part of this is cuz he's from a higher weight division and remember as he kept referring to "peeling open Geoff's tiny hand" both before and after the match. He doesn't realize that, although he *can* outclass Geoff, Geoff clearly has a solid counter to his style with his speed and ability to consistently separate his power from his hand.
