Army AIT | Fort Lee 92Y Unit Supply Specialist - Typical Day, Tips, Cell Phone, Fire Guard, & Advice

✅#4 AIT Life of a 92Y Unit Supply Specialist at Fort Lee
- When you arrive at AIT you get smoked
- Then you go upstairs and take your bags after getting assigned rooms and roommates
- First Week You Have Meetings and Briefs
- You will get your phone taken
What a typical day is like as a 92Y
- wake up for PT at 4:30 clean up your room, make your bed, brush your teeth, and get dressed for PT
- Room inspections ( if your room isn’t up to par the drill side as well miss your bed up and make you do push-ups)
- Go to PT at 5:20
- Finish PT around 6:20
- Shower & Get dressed and ready for breakfast chow and school
- Go to breakfast chow at 7:45
- Class starts at 9
- March to Lunch chow at 12:30
- Go back to class at 1:30
- Go back to class until about 4
- Go to Dinner chow
- March back to the the company around 5 hand out mail and do whatever the drill sergeant needs
- Have a little bit of free time if there is time
- Bed check around 8
- Fireguard meeting for the ones who have fireguard
- Lights around 9 or 9:30
- Then you wake up and do the same thing the next day
Fireguard is 2 hours in AIT (Shit sucks)
Must at least get a 70 on all test. If you fail a test you will be removed from your platoon and go to a different company and you will be held back
Control F on all test
Rewards
Red Pass - you’ll be on red pass for your first 2-3 weeks and if you get in trouble during or outside of school you’ll remain in red pass
Black Pass - get to leave the barracks alone, but must remain on base.
Gold pass - You get to leave the base and do what you want for the day
You can’t get a hotel or stay over night anymore.
And yes there are drill Sergeants at AIT

Well first off good luck you’ll do good. Check out my other video about basic training. I talk about all that. But just put the work in everyday when you’re doing PT & during smoke sessions. It’ll naturally come down over the 10 week period as long as you’re going hard everyday

I cover just about everything in the video. You do a ruck march at the end of AIT it’s not long but y’all camp out for a few days. And I’m sure they’re switching to the new PT test and don’t be nervous you’ll have fun at Fort Lee. The first week is boring but once they give you freedom youll have fun and you’ll meet some dope ass people

I don’t have too much knowledge on split op, but it depends on your AIT, company, & platoon. But usually AIT is wayyyyyyy more chill then basic. You have a little more freedom.

If I remember correctly. It’s honestly kinda easy for y’all. Y’all are considered MOS-T’s. You just have to be at PT in the mornings on time, be present at every formation that the drill sergeants schedules, and be in class on time. Outside of that y’all are free to do what y’all want. Now it could have changed by now since I haven’t been in like 2 1/2 years but if it’s the same that’s it above

Yeah I did! They’re called MOS-T’s. And yeah it is different for them. They get a lot more freedom than everyone else

It’s about 2 months and they’ll know because they’ll ask whose prior service or who is changing their MOS and you’ll most likely be considered a MOS T i believe

what is the benefit of Control-F? I'm nervous about the tests at basic and ait, my Mom is 92Y as well! I never do well on tests, that's always been something about me. You search keywords w/ Control F when you take your test in AIT. It helps you find what you’re looking for. But I made a basic training video. Go check that out. I promise you’ll be okay. Look at it like this you’re not there alone. There are other trainees there with you going through the same stuff you’re going through. Just do what you’re told and listen to instructions and you’ll be fine. Like I said check out my last video on basic training you’ll be good I promise. Lol when you graduate come back to this video and lmk how you did

I cover class in the video. Really just pay attention, take the notes down, and us Control F. You’ll learn what control F is once you start class. But all you do is sit in front of a computer all day. It’s literally easy af.
