Yes! I was a 92 Y at fort hood TX from 2015 to 2017. Didn’t go anywhere else. I miss it.

@@Spacecowboy-d8kunfortunately, this mos (92Y), is very physical and can be mentally draining. Everyone from everywhere is asking for supplies. Hopefully she has good leadership. I was the only supply specialist for a forward company. I got out with physical and mental disabilities. It’s still a great MOS though. Word of advice for her, When she gets to her duty station have her document EVERYTHING medical so that she can make a claim when she either gets out or retires.

the job is very versatile you can go from the unit level to s4 and to pbo office !

I am E5 92Y at a reserve company level but we are HHC. HHC house all the 92Y which means I rarely do my job because we have like 30 92Y. I am a SL and acting platoon sgt. I was thinking about going reserve to guard AGR but the issue is, you'll never know how f*k up a company supply room is until you are there and its too late.

I’m a female 63 b, light wheel vehicle mechanic. We looked out for everybody. Those men not only trained the two females but they thought is how to survive, especially if a POW. Don’t want to be in war with those who not trained

SGT I'm a 92Y TPU (SPC) personel with two soldier and am now in charge until the next NCO comes. How do I fix the company to be more organize? I really want to learn where everything is, but the company is everywhere and I'm only there once a month. I don't want to be charged with from the previous NCO. Any advices??

Thanks for the info. I’ve been working on trying to get reclass to 92Y since my window is open. Can you shed light on how 92Y is from a male soldier perspective? It’s a stigma that “most female soldiers get desk jobs” to do clerical work and most guys like myself don’t mind clerical work, supply or filing etc. type work. A video/short clip on that would be dope or If Im able to email you personally regarding that? Thanks again for the info tip, it’s very informative.

I’ve seen some males who doesn’t like being a 92Y but I also know a lot of them that love it so it’s a 50/50 chance. Depends if you like working in a office with paperwork or prefer being outside and hands on with things.

We can never work in the same office. But it’s a bit easier because that mos can get station anywhere so there’s always a spot for both of us in the same installation.

Could you help me choose between 92Y and 36B? Could you compare them for me? There doesn’t seem to be much information on 36B and it seems similar to 92Y only it’s about money. Also does a 92Y have to do heavy lifting much? Or is it more office job?

Idk anything about 36B other than they both office jobs. And the heavy lifting depends

You don’t get treated like the trainees. And I think you get to stay in the hotel instead of the barracks (don’t fully quote me on this one) it could have change. But Good luck 👍🏽
