A little over 14 years ago, I saw this as one of my options when I tried to enlist in the Army right after high school (at Coolidge, Arizona). I had taken a pre-ASVAB test and scored somewhere between 40-60. This was one of the primary options alongside Unit Supply Specialist. I didn't want to do either. I was actually trying to become a Telecommunications Specialist (72E/25D). I complained to the sergeants at the Casa Grande Recruiting Station that I don't see Telecomm on the list. One of them told me I didn't qualify for a Top Secret clearance because I haven't received my citizenship certificate and was under "Permanent Resident" status. Tried to do something similar in the Navy (IT), but civilian representatives told me I couldn't get a TS because my mom was living in PI, therefore, disqualifying me from working on any communications system. I ended up becoming an Aviation Electrician (AE) and loving it as I worked on F/A-18 Hornets. Looking to go back to service (the right way) through the Army's WOFT program. So, I guess I got that going for me now!

So you came here to say you weren't very smart and didn't want this job. Like, you can barely complete a coherent sentence level un-intelligent. Yet, you came here to tell us how much you didn't want either career path. Ok. Big win for you I guess? Pos.

My advice for you is: to search and see some gored images. The more you see, the less it will feel in the real life.
