have anyone every work on a path finding mod patch for the game? or remove the unit's giant hitbox? cause i feel like fixing one of the two would improve the gameplay significantly

I don't think so, but if the mod does exist, it would be on the ExF forums www.clanexf.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=34 And I get what you mean. Most of the time it's fine, but other times it leaves a lot to be desired.
