In the second version, there is one moment that is clearly better than in the first - when Alexander falls, and Jean-Pierre does not catch him, pretending to be keen on correcting his cuffs. Camilla is not here, and this is the main disadvantage.

The official story was that there had been difficulties in the group so they canned Camilla. The more detailed story is that Alexander Bard, the red head guy, pretty much hated her among many reasons one, i think, because she had more partners then he had and that she was prettier then her and all that jazz. So he had said many condescending things to her lately. The other guy was not in this way and tried to make them ok which each other but Alexander totally refused and just wanted her out from the group and so it was, but there are certainly other things involved as well between the two since it all happened quite sudden.

this is not a second version, this is the second part of one whole story, that began with romantic anxiety and ended with psychopathic schizophrenia of the hero who waited night and day no matter how they tried to "cure" him (as you see, they even managed to change the nurse till that time and moved from lobotomy to complete brain ejection) the funny part is that that kind of therapy simply doesn't even work in that case because as we all know, heart is the place for love

actually central part of brain is mostlikely some kind of control unit while the repetitive extending cable like looking outer parts/loobes are mostlikely memory or reflex units. which means after removing outer parts big part of memories will gone like definitions of goods and bads. but there will be mostlikely lots of short copies of that memories in inner regions too... and after memories are gone there is mostlikely no memory that generetaes reason to generate pain :P but main system still may find ways to find reasons :P

Just watched them side by side, I like the one with Camilla too. But this version has some great bits too, like how alexander looks more paranoid in this one and the last bit of the clip where you see them actually perform a "surgery" (the other clip you just saw alexander spinning around)

Уверен, каждому покажется лучше то, от чего он обалдел впервые. А обе версии заставляют обалдеть. Я впервые увидел ЭТУ ВЕРСИЮ. И образ Микаэлы, этакой зловещей медсестры сразил меня наповал. Великолепно сыгран! С Камиллой показалось уже простоватенько. Да и медсестры такими не бывают)))) Микаэла - отличная находка для группы, умела быть роковой, драматичной, комичной, трагичной ... Ла Камила лишь слегка. А Доминика - вообще мёбель.

they were all stars, in a way army of lovers was more than the sum of its parts. the character balance between the 3 was fantastic - shy, vanilla Bard against the bombastic Jean-Pierre and Camilla. but while Jean-Pierre had a sort of camp appeal, Camilla had this dark gravitas. perversely motherly. it just worked

Эта версия - страшная вообще... Гораздо более жёсткая и больная. Какая там "попса"?!? - натуральная "чёрная оперетта". Дэс-готик-рок натуральный. Бард - гениален, страшен и жалок. This is one of my favorite AOL songs, can't say the same about the video though. Their acting and everything else in the video is way more exaggerated and campy than in the original one, thus feeling forced, while in the original video everything felt much more organic and natural. Still a great song anyway.
