The Alien hives episode was SOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo GREAT!!!! The ship interior, the winding corridors and the seed pods were EPIC!!!!!!

Those dreadnoughts bring back memories of the late 80's of the various Rogue Trader lead miniatures. The lead dreadnoughts were released shortly after the first edition/printing of Rogue Trader went on sale. They were heavy miniatures, even for lead miniatures. I want to say the dreads were released in 1988 or early 1989 and they were a mail order only item in the USA when first released. Back then Citadel had a much slower release schedule, so for it to be released within 12-18 months was fairly short. A little history lesson: Citadel was the miniature side of GW during this time period, with GW known as the side that made rules and produced White Dwarf.

Back in the day I would see some of these venerable war machines grace the battlefield from time to time. Then Bjorn the fell handed made his appearance. All 2 pounds of him. Back when the term dread socking was invented. I still have some of an old rouge trader dread. In my bitz box I have the torso and 2 left legs. The stubby ones with no shins.

@@WarbossFitz those old dreads if hurled at someone or fell off the tabletop could do some serious damage. I do miss the old Rogue Trader days of 40K

On dwarf shipbreaker chimeras... add a tow derrick. Maybe give it a nice, short, stubby demolition cannon. (Demolition and Recovery Vehicle is what I called them for my Dark Angels 'Badger Wing' - 5th Company: Engineering.) I used a toy tow truck to make the derrick.

Damn it man... Now I want an Ork army that's made up of boys from high gravity planets...dwarf sized Ork gravity boys all over the place raising hell!
