So pre-pandemic especially, ARMY would organize with BigHit, their company, to create and produce fan projects like slogan banners designed by fans that would then be printed and distributed by BH and venue staff. For this concert, ARMY organized something different, they asked BH if they could sing Young Forever to them and BH made it happen. BTS never know what the fan projects will be so this was truly a surprise for them. It was so beautiful and brought many fans to tears watching there or online as well

So story time about all of this. ARMY fanbases in each city the guys go to always ask Big Hit if they can do an event like officially sing a song to them and Big Hit says no TO EVERYONE. Well this show was at Wembley and Big Hit wanted to give the guys sort of a Queen moment. So during the guys resting and changing clothes, Big Hit told ARMY they chose a song (it's one of the songs many fanbases ask if we can sing to BTS) and when they put up ARMY SING they would put up the lyrics for Young Forever. The guys had no idea this was going to happen. At one point I think one of them says we didn't do this because they had no idea this was planned.

This was a really special moment to bts and army ofc, but jimin really have this in his heart, he said that he was in a not so great moment of his life, and army did this, this really helped him. He said that when hes felling sad he watches this video again just to feel better. Hes so sweet and lovely I can't put into words how much I love him and the others 😞💞

I always get goosebumps when I see this video and I burst into tears. This was truly a special moment and I will forever be grateful to the ARMY's that did this for them. This video shows how BTS broke the language barrier and that music truly is something that you feel and love regardless if you understand it or not. The bond BTS & ARMY has is unique and cannot be replicated. It's a one in 8 billion. They give us so much and never ask for anything in return, so it's only fare for us to do the same.

Immortalizing this moment, army's voices, in their song For Youth, is one of the biggest honors and compliments BTS could have ever done for us. When I first heard the first few seconds of that song, I literally started to tear up. Our voices in this moment will forever be part of BTS' history. They show us how much they love us in as many ways as they possibly can. I am always floored by their love and appreciation for us. They never fail to express just how much they love us and the fact that they're doing all of this for us. That they love us and love being loved by us. 💜 army forever. Bangtan forever.

This one reason I am an Army. They love and make their fans part of them. Their music tells a story and covers 3verything in life (self love, life struggles, heartache, etc). For the staff and Army to do this and the pure raw emotion on BTS. This will forever be my favorite song and video of them. I always no matter how I feel. Will get wet in the eyes

The 18-minute long version of this video with the setup shown used to be on Enjoy BTS More channel iirc. But Britta recently posted on her community tab that she got two copyright strikes one shortly after another. To avoid having her channel taken down permanently, she deleted all videos (some of which had been up for years w/o a problem!) while she's hoping to reach an amicable solution with BigHit and YT. I think it's a pity because the subs added value and made many videos accessible to people wanting to get to know BTS.

To answer 1 of your questions, BTS have a translator at their concerts. They'll all say a bit in English, but when they really want to say something meaningful or complicated they'll speak a few sentences in Korean and the translator would say it in English for the whole speech. Idk why they didn't do that for this but maybe they just edited it out for the video? 💜

I hope you saw what went on before that. If not, here's what happened: the boys went backstage for a short break. The staff flashed the instructions on the big screen, telling ARMY that after RM introduces their last song, "ARMY SING" will be shown on the screen, and that's when ARMY's surprise is going to happen by singing "Young Forever." This goes to show that their crew loves them too. Isn't this just so pure and special?

I was there, 2nd of june in section 124 😭 it was so emotional, something that can't be described with words. About your question in 5:10 we do have a translator. In the video they cut that part, but every time they spoke in korean a tranlater behind the stage would translate to us in english everything they said immediately

It was pre planned by the crew....when they were getting ready for the last stage they put out some text on the screen and Armys kept it a secret till the end 😭😭 This is the bond between Armys and BTS....Armys even release songs every year on their anniversary to thank them and tell them we will always be by their sides...and the most famous one which even reached to BTS was "LOVE LETTERS" (you can search it up on KZbin)...also they have live translators back stage who translate whatever they say to the audience 💜 Do react to LOVE LETTERS 😊

The video for this on the channel Enjoy BTS More was better, she includes the slides that went up earlier from BigHit saying hey army, let's do something special for the guys, when you see army sing on the screens, sing Young Forever with us as loud as you can. The romanized lyrics were up for army for it. It's not included in this video but there's a translator that explains what the guys said after each one speaks. 💜

"Fun" facts: What V said is the only promise to ARMY they haven't kept, and it wasn't their fault. They were in fact supposed to come back the next year as a part of their biggest tour ever, but then the pandemic hit, and eventually the entire tour had to be cancelled. They have yet to perform in Europe again but 🤞😣🤞. Btw, they used this as the intro to For Youth, their 'goodbye-for-now-song' as a group before enlistment. Only we didn't know about that yet when it was released. But looking back, their expressions during the promotion of the song make so much sense now. 😢 💜

Yeah, unfortunately Enjoy BTS More had to pull her content so that she wouldn't lose her channel completely due to copyright strikes. She had the full explanation and subs and ments and everything. She does have a patreon which is an amazing resource for all of their live performances. I don't think you'd be able to do YT reactions to them though. Jimin has mentioned coming back to this to watch it. I can't imagine how special it was and still is.

Actually, this was originally done in Paris, on the same tour. It went over so well, Bighit arranged for it to happen in Wembly, since Wembly was being recorded to be the concert they would be releasing for sale.

That is not the case, on the Love Yourself; Speak Yourself tour BTS played London before Paris (London dates: 01-02/06/2019, Paris dates 07-08/06/2019). It was the same way round for the Love Yourself tour in 2018. If your statement is true how come no recordings of it exist (not even Army made ones), and I’ve looked. I was at both Wembley concerts and my best friend went to the Paris ones, Forever Young was not sung there. I will concede however, that the original idea for doing this, came from a French Army.
