I usually get really bored with truck KZbin content , but as I sat in a lay-by for the night cooking my tea I found that really interesting, as an ex owner driver I have to say I agree with what you say , I started my OD career in 1998 my first trip was to Munich and I had zero in the bank ,,, it was a steep learning curve , but I managed 10 years before becoming fed up with it and moving onto coaches ,, back in trucks now but looking at different incomes

Wow just wow Nichole , you have had it rough just like a lot more of us , I was bullied both mentally and physically from my Narcissistic father who also was a driver , I was physically abused to the length that damaged my left eye & stopped me from getting my HGV licence knowing this is all I ever wanted to do . I was verbally and mentally bullied at work for being over weight and this went on for 55 yr until I got the life changing news that Cancer had finally beet the Bastard and he was finally Dead , I seemed the help I needed but I still have bad days now were certain things trigger me , I have lost 28 stone in weight and I still keep my self to my self because mentally I still see people staring and saying things about me ,, I drive 7,1/2T trucks and have done for 41 yr but I have missed out on so much in life it is unreal . The moral here is you are still young enough to continue your journey and lead a great life , xxxxxxx

I understand what you went through mentally as you obsessed over harming a family member I had the same situation and the pills were changed a few times. There’s intrusive thoughts which are unpleasant. So mentally I understand how it can affect someone. I’ve been out of work for 23 years now & my job was professional driving like yourself. Now I’m disabled and still struggling with MH. I wanted to do LGV class 1. I could have done HGV class 1 if I was out of work for 3 years.

Sadly you have been treated with such disrespect and unfortunately its more common than we know. I'm a retired police officer in Canada who has seen similar behavior in different industries here and I've also seen how female victims are treated in our court system. Being a member of the "tender gender" has it's own challenges but it hasn't hindered you from becoming a successful woman in your own right. You have been able, from what I can see, to overcome the discrimination you've been subjected to. I can only congratulate you on your success and encourage you to continue being the obvious awesome person that you are. Hats off to Ben as well for being there for you whether he smokes that big cigar or not. ;) You obviously make a good couple and I wish you all the success in your highway adventures. Cheers!

I was in the army too, also medically discharged (now a freelance photographer doing similar work to your 'other income'), I never saw any behaviour like you describe, though there was a lot of 'extracurricular activity' always going on, but I've heard similar stories from so many female veterans since, I so hope things have changed, it's a disgrace that kind of thing happens, almost always an abuse of rank is involved too. I hope you're happier with your life now, it seems to be going great 👍👍

Really enjoyed this vlog, wasn't boring at all, would never have guessed you had been in the army and all that you've been through, Very rare i comment on any video but just felt like i had to on this one for some reason lol Really hope the business takes off for you both as you both seem genuine decent people. All the best for the future.

Thank you for opening up to us. Very courageous. I really hate sexual abuse, or any other form of bullying or abuse. I am glad that you both now have each other to care for and be cared by. I wish you all the best with you trucking business, and any other projects you go for. By the way, I have absolutely no idea what your "subscription based platform" is. I guess I don't need to know!

Just the fact that he's changing the rota so you work together should have been enough to raise eyebrows. I've met ALOT of NCO's that let a touch of authority go to their heads and seen alot of recruits graduate that barely put the effort in.
