These figures are really great to paint. I painted all 7 poses. It is a recommended set for those who are new in modeling.

Saw your latest stop motion film. As someone who's worked on stop motion myself, I know how difficult and frustrating the work can be. The edits were also very well done. I know much work goes into this stuff, you deserve more views and support for it. And as another note, thanks for not including swear words in the video. While this stuff's great for people of all ages, it's important to let kids properly enjoy it too. They are toys after all! This was great, keep making more into the future if it's not too draining.

During the early 70s these were a far lighter shade of green. If I recall correctly the poses and stances were exactly the same.

I had some of these back in the 70's, thought there was a crouching rifleman but could be thinking of the Russian set, the plastic used to be less brittle too, not sure why they changed that, great video 👍

I think you’re thinking of the British sniper from the British Airfix paratroopers set.
@JB-js4xi Жыл бұрын
They're using less oil now in a lot of brands so they're more brittle. These are some great looking soldiers though

I know I'm probably late, but you should check out the BMC Japanese soldiers (Not the Iwo Jima, the other one has different poses,) in my opinion they have pretty good poses and reliability :)

I just discovered that Armymen playset that I bought from Hobby Lobby have the similar knockoff pose from Airfix's 1/32 WW2 US Infantry figure set.

Really nice Airfix set! I like how they use Carbines instead of M1s.

The originals were much better than these like they were in a soft plastic, they had a nice light green colour and also you would get 29 figures rather than just 14. Also you get a random assortment nowadays.

For the broken gun barrel, how do you apply and “smooth” the glue without it looking like an obvious glue job or messy? I’m a novice when it comes to models, so I’m always a bit hesitant to fix any broken figures. I have a a broken radio antenna from the hard plastic Airfix German paratroops set that I want to fix!
@ArmyStopmotions5 ай бұрын
I apply the supper glue, hold the barrel in place, then take a toothpick and roll it down the gun barrel.
@trippsallee5 ай бұрын
@@ArmyStopmotions Ok! So just using the toothpick to remove any excess?
@ArmyStopmotions5 ай бұрын
@@trippsallee yes to make it a consistent coating across the barrel too.
@trippsallee5 ай бұрын
@@ArmyStopmotionsGood tip, just fixed mine! Was worried about it being messy, but it’s not bad when you smooth it over like you said.
