My Streamlight Stinger 2020 had these same beam pattern issues. Some DC Fix made a large improvement but I just don't understand why any company still uses the 70.2 over the 70.3.

Hello, and thank you for reviewing this product in such a good and clear way. Did you had a chance to change the 70.2 with the 70.3HI ?
@FlashlightEnthusiast Жыл бұрын
Hello, I didn't. But my friend did and on stock reflector it produces rings around hotspot and overall the beam is not great. Only TIR optics can make it better...

i really appreciate your content and reviews! i want a light like my prime c2 pro but with a tail-switch from the olight warrior mini 3 and with a nichia 519a emitter. why must the journey for the perfect light be endless?
@FlashlightEnthusiast Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Maybe modifying Olight could be an answer to your problem?

Please, please, swap in the 5700k high cri 79.3 hi emmiter in this beauty! I'm positive, the beam will be much more even and should give bit more throw, without sacrificing the universality aspect.

For me the 4000k are a bit to warm and looks to yellowish. I have a Wizard Nichia with 4500k that is much better. But even the cool white version of Armytek is just 5500k so not to cool but still on the cooler side. 4500-5000k is perfekt to me. If you change the emitter it would be nice if you make a video about how you have done it. EDIT I have just read an review where the white version was measured with 6500k. Previous Armytek rated all their white leds with 5500k but this was around 2 years ago.

@Flashlight Enthusiast You have a problem with your microphone, During this video and your last 8 - 10 video's your mic pops & crackles off and on all the time, I only get this with your video's and no others so i know its your mic or camera. Just wanted to let you know as its quiet annoying, This vid pops & crackles within the first minute of watching.

Could not detect that problem while watching the video... There was a moment of moving the tripod where some noise occured, but other then that spot on

Thanks for letting me know, I believe it might be some minor incidents when I speak too close to the mic with more enthusiastic voice 😁

@@FlashlightEnthusiastYep I also can hear this, it seems more like some rendering artifact, maybe during recording, or during editing.
