Can I just say how much I appreciate this whole series.. I love that you're reducing your collection by 50% and even then you don't own that many products. I just bought the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Diffused Bronze Light after watching your videos on bronzers and contours for fair skin. My skin tone is more light than fair, so I thought the Nude Bronze Light would be too fair for me unless I wanted to wear a bronzer that didn't look like I was wearing bronzer for a very subtle and natural finish. I already have one like that in my collection (Revolution Beauty Reloaded Bronzer in Holiday Romance), so I passed on the Nude shade and picked up Diffused Bronze Light instead. Thank you for all your valuable insights - I have loved every recommendation you have made and I also love my Marc Jacobs Omega Coconut bronzer. Expensive, but such an enormous pan and perfect for people like me who love using a huge brush to apply my bronzer. I love the integrity of your content and how you mix it up between luxury and cheaper brands - everyone can find something to try in your videos XO

I'd recommend the physicians formula bronzer for your first one. I was terrified of bronzer because I am very pale (usually the lightest shade in every foundation) But the butter bronzer in the shade "bronzer" works beautifully!! Same one she keeps in this video. I found that the lightest shade barely showed up!

The TF Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer used to be my holy grail, and then I discovered the PF Butter bronzer. I hardly ever use the Soleil bronzer anymore.

Just discovered this series and I'm loving it. The TF'ed chocolate compact is super cute. I don't buy the brand anymore but considered it for a second when I saw that one. In the future maybe you could just take the product out and save the compact? That way when you have a better loved product like the honey bronzer that's falling apart you'll have something (cute) to depot and transfer into!

I love these videos because it’s like hearing reviews and what makes you prefer something over something else. I got the Bareminerals light bronzer less than a year ago - I’m always behind. I can’t believe they’re discontinued it. I almost picked up the tan one when it was on sale at Ulta but didn’t because I have too many already. Why can’t I get rid of anything? I always reason “it’s a different tone, texture”, etc. It’s hard for me to toss things and the powders last so long. I haven’t even put a dent in my Butter Bronzer and I wear bronzer everyday. Same with blushes. I’m also reasoning I can make a cream blush or bronzer with the powders I don’t really want. I made a DIY RMS Living Luminizer that is the perfect color, but it’s become hard. I can heat it up a bit (hairdryer) or melt it down add more oil. I also made the prettiest cream bronzer that looks good on my eyes, but it’s hard too.

I ordered the Marc Jacobs bronzer a few days ago and I'm so glad you talked about it. I trust your color descriptions and if it works for you it'll definitely work for me but I had the hardest time finding good swatches online. In some pictures it looked super warm and like it'd be too dark for me, in others quite neutral. I was so confused haha on the temptalia website colourpop's wild card shows up as the best dupe and that one is super red and for more medium skintones, very odd Oh and the bare minerals bronzer didn't get discontinued, at least not in Europe

I think if you keep it out of direct sunlight it should be okay indefinitely. I've had some of my powders going on 4 years now and they are fine. If texture or smell changes that will be a sign that it's been long enough

On the back of the product there is a jar symbol with a number followed by an M inside of it. This is the expiration date and the number is how many months it is good for once you open it. It probably will last longer than that though, but good to keep in mind when you clean out your collection.

The packaging of my Body Shop bronzer has broken in exactly the same way. I like to detach the mirror from it to hold underneath my eyes and look down into when I apply falsies; it works great for that! 😂

Does anybody else find that the Kevin Aucoin sculpting powder hard pans really quickly? I’ve found I literally use it twice and then I’m having to scrape the top off as it literally won’t even swatch! I don’t have oily skin and I always set my face with powder before going in with contour so it’s not like I’m getting loads of moisture into the product! So disappointed as it’s a lovely contour shade & so pricy so it shouldn’t be doing that! Dunno if I got a bad one
