It's called Arnautkoy because The Arnaut Janissaries and other ARNAUTS fighting on the side of Mehmet Fatih capturing Constandinapolis , As reward they got the European side of the City Arnautkoy. This City has a long history from the 15th century till now , In the 19th century the city was well developed and established as Arnautkoy. Your assessment of the town's history is a little bit off. Albanians have been in Istanbul for a long time they didn't show up in 19th 19th century .
