I use the spit stitch more often than the outline stitch because it is so pretty and more detailed. Lovely to see hand embroidery come back. Good job guys!

I'm so inspired by this. Great, now I end up having another hobby. I'm thinking about making some embroidery on mousseline for babies. It will make a lovely and useful gift for the child and the parents. Thank you so much Arne and Carlos, for all the lovely ideas you give us, and the great lessons.

Ooh, also, a few years ago now, I saw a collection at the Musee Quai de Branly in Paris by Christian Lacroix - he had collected gowns and kameez from all over the Middle East and Near East of beautiful hand embroidered patterns. So bright, and jewel like, so colourful! You could see how they were an inspiration to his haute couture.

I just love your videos. I recently started embroidery and sewing. I admire your work and hope someday to be as talented. Knitting isn't a struggle, crochet is my thing. Please can you do more crochet videos for the intermediate or advanced. Love you all from a Norwegian gal

It was so great to hear from you two in Redfern yesterday, here in sunny (winter!) Sydney! It was inspiring to hear about what's coming up for you guys. I've recently started experimenting a bit with embroidery too! I tried some Sashiko samplers, which were great, and some embroidery on wool felt. Your chat about embellishment reminded me that in the 90s, it was a trend for a while to embroider our jeans with bright flowers and shapes - which was probably the last time I did any embroidery! Thanks for sharing this tutorial :-)

Again you two have delivered another excellent video. It seems so short and leaves me wanting to hear more of what you share in your creative needle talents across many different projects. I have wanted to embroider on sock part of the leg but it seems too hard to figure out.

Your tutorials on embroidery have come at the perfect time😄 I am just embarking on tea towels - am hoping u might show lazy daisy stitch, French knot, satin stitch, back stitch and or running stitch. Your channel is so motivating and pleasurable to watch✨

Can you please show us how you did the hounds tooth pattern mixed with flowers. Thx. Teresa from Northern Ontario Canada

Hi Teresa, that was a freestyle project that we did. The embroidery was already done and we added the pattern.

@ARNECARLOS Thankyou for your response. I was not very clear in what I am asking. I just need a snapshot of the houndstooth. I remember seeing the variation that you made to the cushion pattern. I found a floral pattern at our local thrift store and want to adapt it by putting the black hounds tooth in. Warmly, teresa

Hey Guys, Can you do a tutorial on how to frame a crossed stitch project with a tart pan. I suppose this includes a woolen stuffing behind the project. Thank you for any help. Linda, from Pennsylvania, U.S.A.

There is something so meditative and relaxing and satisfying about tugging on thread through fabric to embroider. I am thrilled you are doing these tutorials! I'm inspired. (You guys are looking very tan and summery!) xojennyinseattle
