I always thought i was a continental knitter since i hold my yarn in the left hand but never understood why everybody was holding their finger so far from their needle. I can't do it. Turns out i knit norwegian style! It is way easier for me but i find it hard to knit colorwork that way with two yarns in my left hand. Since my yarn is always at the tip of my finger it always falls from it and i have to re tension every two stitch Thank you for your informative videos!

I decided to finish knitting a wool hat during your podcasts. I was having trouble with it and I hoped your knitting mojo would come through. It did and it's done!

That's how I've always done it. One of my favourite patterns is the seed stitch and this method makes it so much easier.

I love your stories about whatever. I can no longer go to knitting groups and your channel is a good substitute. I am knitting something else along with your video.

I'm not clear. Do you follow the pattern backwards back to your size once you reach the center or do you go back to the size line and knit to the center again each time? You said it both ways and I'm really confused!!!!!

I wish I had found this last year. I struggled with this year's stocking but it forced me to learn how to use that pattern chart on my own! Thanks for this. But I'M seriously confused about this chart. Once you reach the center from your size start stitch do you then go back to that beginning stitch and knit to the center each time OR do you knit backwards following the stitches from the center back to your size stitch?? HELP. You said it both ways in the video and it is NOT clear at all to this new knitter. HELP!!!!

I find it interesting that you have stitches on 4 dpn. I learned to knit on 3 dpn and the fourth needle is for stitching the row. A set of dpn is 4 needles. Are your dpn sold in sets of 5needles? Love the knitted balls❣️

Thank you so much for the knit along and pattern. I thoroughly enjoyed watching every episode. Thank you! I can't wait to see how you'll decorate the tree! :) :) :) I have 8 of the 10 books published in English. I'm missing "Slippers to Knit and Felt" and "Norwegian Knits with a Twist" (or is this the same as "Knitting Scandinavian Style"? If that's the case, there are 9 books, I own 8 and am missing the Slippers). I hope the next one is about sewing doll dresses! :) :) :)

Lovely, beautiful xmas stocking. What a nice hanging item from the big river company you have. You could make a small video with all four and earn money that way. 😂 You published 10 books and I have two. I have used several patterns from the favourites of Arne and Carlos; made wrist warmers for my husband and he loves those and wears 3 dickey’s in winter too. Have a good advent, you are the best designers I know and compliments for everyone in the team; You all produce top content , hope to see you in december. ❤❤❤

I have crocheted for approximately 60 years and I hold my hook like Arne does. I have only run across 1 person here in the US that holds it like a pencil instead of a knife. My way of holding is considered holding it like a knife.
