Aww, I love "Waiting for Carlos" as the name of the square! That's so sweet, Arne. I loved watching you knit in front of the fireplace but it also made me feel so sad for you. Carlos, I'm so glad that you are feeling better. I was supposed to do heart rehab after my surgery but COVID hit and it didn't happen. My surgeon talked about sending me now, but since I've moved to Virginia and the rehab is in Maryland I chose not to do that drive 3 days a week for the rehab. Right now my car isn't working, so it wouldn't be possible anyway. If there was a program for me like what you did, Carlos, I would definitely do it. I'm just not motivated to go out and walk on my own or ride my little exercise bike. I'm so happy that you had that opportunity and that it helped you. It's so good seeing you together again, it makes me feel so happy. I'm sending you my love from Northern Virginia.

First of all thank you for sharing the moose-- I live in South Carolina in the USA and needless to say, I’ve never seen a moose out my window--- how special!!! I need to THANK YOU for your teaching me your way to purl-- I have been knitting for years and always do my knit stitches like you do-- but hated purling because I only knew to “throw” in purling. Thanks to you I now know how to purl in a much easier and more comfortable way. Tomorrow is my 68th birthday and what a gift!!!!! THANK YOU !!!!!!! I’m enjoying your videos so much-- please continue

Arne is right about soaking cauliflower and broccoli in salt water so the worms come out. We usually only worry about that if it is from the garden. Welcome home Carlos, glad to have you back. Arne has taken very good care of the plant. I was born in September...December was a cold, busy month.😉

Heads Up!..........If you grow your own vegetables or purchase them from a farmer, you can get beautiful green caterpillars amongst your broccoli etc. on your dinner plate if you do not kill them by soaking them in salted water when cleaning/prepping them before cooking. Back in the 70's my mother's best friend gave an elaborate gourmet dinner party which she had planned and prepared herself........ While everyone was enjoying the wonderful meal her teenage son discovered a caterpillar in his broccoli and, being young and inexperienced, proclaimed and announced it to everyone! Peggy, the hostess, being quick of mind, jumped up and grabbed everyone's plate and took it to the kitchen and scraped the broccoli from it and returned it to them. Lesson later from my Mom to me, her daughter, "Know when it is best to say nothing". (But not so politely put!) So Arne was completely right! Carlos, you asked Arne, "Worms? Where DO you get your vegetables from?" .......... Carlos, this time it is time for you to eat humble pie (as Arne will obviously keep you from eating garden bugs).🤢 Also, soaking your brussel sprouts in salted water rids them of aphids which they are notorious for having (if they are more naturally grow). You two are sooooooooo hilarious and fun. You bring laughter, love and caring into our lives at this very difficult time. Thank you. Best wishes from Victoria, British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦

When I listened about cauliflower treatment, I was agreeing to myself. Here in New England we soak our feet in salt water to feel better. And salt and water, funny name normal saline, as a nurse, is always in use. Now I add to cook cauliflower. Carlos looks so well. Beautiful video, coming home after hospital can be tricky for families members, resetting. You two are beautifully stepping together.

Good morning Arne and Carlos! So, SO wonderfully good for mind and heart to watch you both! I couldn’t help but shout “Me too!” in the kitchen when you were talking about Kate, Micheal and Stephanie! I love any place with a least a bit of history, whether it’s a building, a garden or an object ... the stories they tell about the times they come from, I find truly fascinating! My home is an early 1940s house. When I bought it, I removed the gas fires and reinstated an open fire in the front room and put a Godin stove in the kitchen, a bit of France in my corner of England ! So I really don’t mind when temperatures fall! Sending you warm hugs from North Yorkshire 🤗🧶!

So happy to see you back together again. “Waiting for Carlos” says it all. Arne, I’m a retired 1st grade teacher. When I first started teaching, we laminated everything. But as I later found out, it takes about 700 years for laminated pages to decompose. So I began to make careful choices of what to laminate. I’m guessing that you will too. Coming from NJ, USA. ❤️🌹

It’s lovely to see you both back together and obvious how pleased you are to be with each other once again. Thank you sharing with us all what you both got up to over the last month. So great to see how invigorated you are too Carlos! Hearing how good your hospital stay was and also seeing that beautiful moose on the lake, once again, I want to come and live in your country! Be well 🌹

Once, when my mom was out of town, my dad told her he had M&Ms (the candy) for dinner. Why? “Because”, he replied, “They are so easy to fix!”

I am so so glad that Carlos received such excellent care in the hospital, and I really hope Arne enjoyed the potato chip dinner- a better potato dinner than drinking vodka...

So glad to have you and Arne back together again Carlos. The moose clip at the beginning was stunning, thank you for sharing. Ironical that Freya did not see the moose when it was really around. She is just too sweet. Thank you for yet another very interesting episode, excitement is back for Wednesday viewing for me. Take care and stay healthy.

So funny - Arne’s hands switch from knitting to dog petting-- as “required “. Many of us have this skill!

So glad you are back, Carlos. And, Arne, I totally loved your slow-knitting video. Some times I want the quiet but with company. Thanks.

Wonderful to see you guys together and chatting. I am envious of Norway’s humane health care system.

Lovely to Sit and Knit for a Bit with both of you again! I've had potato chips and wine for dinner many times when my husband use to be away on business trips. It's so delcious and comforting.

We do the same thing with cauliflower growing in the garden and then picked for eating; best way to get worms out.
