A month after that, Noel Gomez posted his video of it, as well as 63 other videos he had made, to the internet. A month later, Neil Schon saw it and sent his e-mail to Gomez. By the end of August, Arnel was the lead singer for Journey although it wasn't announced publicly until December.

This looks like it could be a scene from an old Humphrey Bogart movie. A cheaply-paid, half-ignored band in a small restaurant. A drummer puffing on a cigarette in the background, but the singer is spot on with a rich a powerful voice since the movie only wants to imply poor quality but not actually give it to you.
