Let's boost your grammar and vocabulary with these important English words. In spite of, despite, although, even though and though, all show CONTRAST.
We use them to talk about things that happen when something else doesn't matter.
These words can be used in any situation! If you are taking an exam (TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge etc.) try to add these to your writing and speaking tasks. Show the examiner that you can form strong sentences!

I slept the whole afternoon yesterday despite having fully schedule to study. I dropped out from my company in spite of/ despite the fact that I get a lot of contributions. Although he has girlfriend, I cannot stop crush on him. I study english by watching your videos even though I take grammar class from my country. Even if my crush doesn't like me, I will keep sending presents to him. We can't study consistently every day. But we even know that is good habit.
