I agree. I think it was because Bobby could go lower and Bill could go higher than their already extremely wide vocal ranges. Could make them sound like a quartet sometimes. In my opinion the best duo ever, even considering competition like The Everly Brothers

@@patricialabbe1416 Good point. And while I love The Everly Brothers, The Righteous Brothers are my favorite duo, for many reasons-- including the complexity of their harmonies.

Sorry I could care less about the girls when these two are on stage. The girls mucked it up IMO.
