Hows your experience with the ABM single saddles compared to hipshot fixed/ single saddles? i have gone with abm single saddles on my skervesen as well which i am yet to receive. How is the stability?

I'd rather have Hipshot just because it's easier on the luthier to install. I also feel the Hipshot is slightly more comfy

Gotta be my own luthier then haha Hipshot single saddles look ugly for some reason, without the frame around it like what the fixed hipshot multiscale bridges have. Anyway lets see, I am going for a 26-28” as well but on 7 string. So single saddles are the only choice for me.

its not as scary as it looks, actually the fan fret makes it easier to play the high strings. just mute more strings allways.. (actually lot of this riffage can be done on a 7 string)

@@stein0niets I’ve been playing 6 string for 25 years. I just bought a Solar 7 string V and it’s so foreign to me. I’m trying but it’s hard. I’ll keep on chugging and I’ll eventually figure it out. I never thought adding one string would trip me up so badly.😅

@@wormfost5578 nice ive been playing around 22 years but I started on 7 after 3 years its strange now to play a 6 string (and has some great virtues aswell I enjoy the limits and higher strings) figure it out yes you will! Definitely not a good idea to ever sell that guitar. Not likely you're gonna be able to get another one with a Rosewood neck. It's a protected species now. Gibson got sued not too long ago for an illegal shipment of Rosewood. Tis part of the reason why we're starting to see more and more Composite fretboards on the market. The only reason why most guitars used to have Rosewood fretboards was because it was cheap-ish and didn't require any finish, but still looked good.
