Sustainable Fashion! Alex specialises in embroidery with a focus on sustainable embroidery & hand processed slow textile design for all. Hand Embroiderer, Alex, explains how he sources and embellishes the cloth for his slow sustainable fashion collection. Each piece is carefully selected before being decorated with hand stitch or eco dyed to create a new piece of wearable art.
Darning, thread weaving and embroidered motifs all play a part in this beautiful work. Filmed at The Knitting & Stitching Show 2019, Alexandra Palace.
