I really enjoyed your interview with Carol and can totally relate to her love of textiles and how she then becomes inspired to create with them. ❤❤❤

Thank you for sharing this. I sure appreciate her thoughts on used old, discarded pieces. I see the passion in her eyes when she talks of them. I’m a crafter sewing is my first love and I am always curious of my waste even the tiniest scraps of fabric. I too appreciate vintage fabric. Once again thank and I think her creativity is simply brilliant.

I feel exactly the same. Was interested since I was a child. Now in my old age I have become more creative for "myself" & not only for others. 😂

Thanks so much for this interview with the brilliant Carol Sarchet! I'm glad I stumbled on it while looking for something to listen to while working in my new kitchen cabinets, even though it slowed down the process because I had to keep looking at the screen.

I have treasure textiles late in life. I too sewed my clothes once I had a machine and my mother was of the age to make all of our clothes. I really enjoyed and envy you as a textile artist. I hope to see more of your videos.

I love how you value discarded things. I love to utilize scraps and throw-aways as well in my art. I agree that they don't make things now-a-days as well as they used to.

Great interview - thank you. Photo tip: When you want to show detail - please don't pan the camera - zoom in and hold for a moment or two because the person viewing don't know - yet - what they're looking at and needs a moment to focus on something. Otherwise, it's visually disturbing and a total waste of time to even bother.

I was filming this one handed with a broken arm. It's my hope that any future videos of this type will be much easier to view.
