Great explanation, thank you! English isn't even my mother tongue, but I understood this way better compared to how it is explained in my chemistry book, even though it slightly differs from how the book explains it. Sometimes, that's the best way to learn something though, to hear it phrased slightly differently to get a different look on it. Thank you for this video! :)

I also really like how you give these little extra explanations just to make sure that everyone can follow along. It helps me tremendously personally because I oftentimes can't fill in the blanks by myself and get left behind, which then frustrates me to no end.

NaN03 is also a spectator ion in the first eqn. Why didn't we cancel it

But why does the 2 on the nitrate go a way? Its not represented on the product side. Shouldnt the 2nitate mean it has a charge of negative 2 so you would need 2 potassium to balance it since potassium is a +1. Confused about how that extra nitrate ion goes away.
