Arohanam - Avarohanam Live Quiz with Janya

Janya Subramanian, living in Atlanta, USA, has great interest in Carnatic music. Apart from her Carnatic music training, she and her father spend a lot of time at Raga Surabhi learning new ragas. Janya got very excited watching our earlier live quiz videos and wrote to me asking if she could participate in the quiz. So......here is what we came up with on a video call last week :)
A small disclaimer that I would like to add here is that Arohanam Avrohanam for ragas is something like what alphabets are for any language and the complete picture of a raga is much larger than just its swaras. However, the understanding of any raga has to start from its moorchana and the swaras present it. The idea behind doing these videos is to get the young generation motivated towards Carnatic music learning.
