At 0:56 Remember kids, never pick your nose in public, also at 3:47 try not to castle kingside when your opponent has most of his pieces aimed that way, at 6:06 how a grandmaster reacts to an unexpected move.

@nicocola1 13 жыл бұрын
@pyangga Yes, Carlsen touches, but also says "J'adoube", which gives him the right to replace the misplaced piece without having to necessarily play it.

@craik62 yes, and you have to hit the piece of your opponent if you touch it, except if you cannot make a legal move doing that

It depends on the position, But this is blitz chess, maybe only 3,4,5 moves deep. In a normal time control a lot longer in some positions, 10 moves or more for some variations.

How do you think does the presence of such a big crowd influence the performance of certain professional chess players? I am just wondering. I myself, if I was one of the chess players I would be very nervous. But maybe they are able to just ignore it and play as if they aren't even there? Thanks

It depends on the nationality. Southern folk won't be influenced so easily because they're familiar with playing when other people are around whereas northern folk can be easily distracted because they generally play chess and train alone in front of their computer and also tend to masturbate a lot when they lose

So you can say that i have never gave up from chess... I just did not want to go to tournaments... But now its a different story. So we will see where will i stand in a year or two :).

So don't quit, u'r doing it the right way. Focus on tatics and endgames. To be honest I have kind of poor positional play and I'm almost 2200, so u can see that tatics and endgames matter the most. What is, approximately, ur strenght? And what are u reading now? I could help u in the books u should read if you want to...

Why didn´t Carlsen play Qxe3 at 6:35? I think he is a rook up after this. And after Bxh7+ Kh8 Qh5+ Kg8 Rf6 he do not have to take, which is also possible and could play d6 and he would be a rook and bishop up!

Clark Grissom Aronian was already lost in that position (a full Rook down). With that move he's trying to find some complications (a common strategy when you're down) but he realizes immediately that has nothing there and then he resigned.

Aronian's arm blocks seeing his Queen at d1, but if Carlsen took the rook on e3, he'd have lost his own Queen via Qxh5. What I don't understand is why he didn't snatch that same rook at 6:24 with Qxe3...but hey, blitz is wild.
