Around Australia by Motorbike - Episode 2 - A Bad Road and a Broken Key

In this updated version of the original video Pete and I negotiate Australia's worst road from Hells Gate to Borroloola. At Hells gate we meet two adventure bike riders whose trip has hit a sticky end and a bit further down the road run into Steve the cyclist from Hobart.
Please note this video is a re-release of the 2022 original with updated music. For those that are interested this is because there is a thriving industry falsely claiming copyright to music that is not theirs. I have therefore re-edited the original with new music and an improved edit.

Camped at Kakadu in 1989 during my big lap on a Kawasaki 750. Really enjoyed it & was thinking it's time to revisit. After hearing your experiences & the cost, I'll give it a miss.

I Don't pay rip off camp fees for no facilities when I can camp in the scrub hidden away , and always carry the " Correct Tools " In Remote areas !.

@@TorqueKit I have camped wherever I end up at the end of the day but as I get older I find I’m quite partial to a few basic luxuries such as showers and toilets. Between us we had quite the tool kit but no spare starter motor or parts therein unfortunately.

@abitofadetour7315 I'm still camping out tenting it on a motorcycle at 74 yrs after surviving a life threatening illness . I do it out of pig headed stubbornness and not wanting to go into an Age Care Home , Luckily I have nobody in my life to talk sense into me .

@ I understand the pig headedness, it is one of my defining characteristics! It’s nice to camp out in the bush with no one around and I will be doing more in the future, just need to wait for cooler weather to arrive.

@@esrider7765 This is a rerelease of my original around Australia trip with new music and an improved edit. In the description of the video it says as much. I’m sorry for the confusion but people with a loose grip on honesty continually steal copyright to music that isn’t theirs which has led me to adding new music and reuploading the videos. KZbin doesn’t allow you to swap in a new version of the video so the only option is to upload the new version and delete the old version, annoying but here we are.

@@abitofadetour7315 I took a look at the source of your music the first time you uploaded the series and saw several names there I didn’t know, taking note for the time I may produce something and looking for music. I guess there is someone dodgy in that list.

@ All supposedly from copyright free sources but there are people who spend all their time claiming it is their music and it’s essentially impossible to fight all of the copyright claims that ensue.
